Bakkie Wraps
Colour change and branding wraps for single and extended cab bakkies, planned around the load bin, canopy and rough use.
Black packs, bakkie branding, canopy graphics and PPF for the Ford Ranger, Raptor, Wildtrak, Everest and Territory.
The Ford Ranger is one of the vehicles we discuss most often, whether it’s a single cab on a building site, a Wildtrak doing the school run or a Ranger Raptor that spends weekends on dirt. The Everest and the newer Territory SUV bring the same mix of family use and long-distance travel.
Car Colour Wraps is an independent workshop in Rivonia, Sandton, and is not affiliated with Ford. We use 3M and Avery Dennison vinyl films for wraps and branding. Mustang owners can find a separate page on Mustang stripes and wraps; this page focuses on Ford’s bakkies and SUVs.
A black pack is one of the most requested Ranger changes. Covering the grille surround, mirror caps, door handles, badges and roof in gloss, satin or matte black gives a stealthier look while the original finish stays underneath. The Raptor’s flared arches and vented bonnet suit bonnet graphics and side stripes, which we cut around vents rather than forcing film into openings. We design original graphics and don’t reproduce Ford trademarks.
Business Rangers carry branding well on the doors, tailgate and load bin sides. If you run a canopy, its side panels can take lettering and the rear window may take perforated graphics where this is legally appropriate. Roller shutters, load bars and textured canopy surfaces are checked first, because not every surface holds film well. If you run several Rangers, we keep logo size and position consistent across the fleet so every vehicle is instantly recognisable, even when models or canopy types differ.
For contractors, reflective lettering can make a bakkie easier to see at night, but reflective materials must not imitate emergency-vehicle markings.
On the Everest, a contrast roof, chrome delete on the window surrounds and a full colour change in satin grey or matte black are popular, subject to material availability. The Territory’s smooth, modern panels suit a full wrap, and like most new SUVs it uses cameras, radar and parking sensors. We don’t cover sensors, cameras or lights, and we plan cut lines around them.
A Ranger or Everest that travels on gravel picks up stone chips on the bonnet, bumper, wings and mirrors. Clear paint protection film on these areas is designed to absorb chips while keeping the colour visible, and it can be combined with a black pack. PPF doesn’t hide existing damage. Our 5-year workmanship guarantee covers our installation workmanship only, not the lifespan of the film or colour.

Chrome window surrounds, grille trims and badges covered in black or colour vinyl for a cleaner, darker look.

Logos, business names, phone numbers and websites in cut vinyl or print, applied neatly to any vehicle.

A contrast or printed bonnet in vinyl, planned around vents, washer jets and engine bay heat. Not a substitute for PPF.

Clear PPF on the bumper, bonnet, front wings and mirrors – the areas that face most road debris.

See-through perforated film for rear windows that shows your design from outside while allowing a view out from inside.
