Car Wraps, Fleet Branding and PPF for Midrand and Kyalami

Colour wraps, fleet branding and front-end PPF for Midrand and Kyalami, fitted at our Rivonia workshop.

Drivers and businesses in Midrand and Kyalami can book colour change wraps, partial wraps, printed and advertising wraps, fleet and delivery vehicle branding, and paint protection film for the front end or full vehicle. We also remove old wraps and branding and repair damaged panels.

Every job is done at our single workshop in Rivonia, Sandton. Midrand is an area we serve, not a branch location, so you bring the vehicle to Rivonia for assessment and installation. The N1 makes this a straightforward trip south.

Vehicle wrapping and branding for Midrand

Midrand lies between Johannesburg and Pretoria along the N1, and has grown into a large business area with office parks, warehousing and distribution centres, the Waterfall development and the Gallagher Convention Centre. Many companies here run delivery vans, sales cars and service vehicles that cover both cities, which makes fleet branding and consistent logo and lettering layouts a frequent need.

The N1 between Midrand and Johannesburg carries heavy truck and commuter traffic, and stone chips on bonnets, bumpers and mirrors are common on vehicles that use it every day. Front-end paint protection film is designed to absorb these impacts. Vinyl colour wraps are a different product with only light protection against minor abrasion and UV.

Kyalami is known for the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit, equestrian properties and security estates. Owners of performance and luxury vehicles in the area often ask about full PPF, satin or matte finishes, and carbon fibre look accents. We always check the paint first, because suitability and removal results depend on whether the paint is factory or resprayed and on its overall condition.

Suburbs and nearby areas

Midrand

Midrand covers a wide area along the N1 and Old Pretoria Road (R101), including office parks, Grand Central Airport, Waterfall and many newer residential complexes. Typical work for the area includes branding for delivery and service vehicles, and clear film for commuters who drive the N1 daily.

Kyalami

Kyalami is home to the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit, smallholdings, equestrian properties and security estates along Main Road and Allandale Road. Owners here often look at full or partial PPF for performance and luxury cars, and carbon fibre look or satin accents for a sportier look.

Getting to our Rivonia workshop

From most of Midrand the simplest route is the N1 south towards Johannesburg, exiting at Rivonia Road and continuing to Rivonia Boulevard. From Kyalami, Main Road (R55) and Witkoppen Road give a route that avoids the highway. Traffic on the N1 can vary a lot, so please book a drop-off time and allow for peak-hour delays.

  • From Midrand central and Waterfall: Join the N1 south, continue past the Buccleuch interchange and take the Rivonia Road off-ramp, then head north on Rivonia Road.
  • From Kyalami: Head south on Main Road (R55) towards Sunninghill and Woodmead, then use Witkoppen Road or Rivonia Road to reach Rivonia Boulevard.

Questions from Midrand customers

Do I need to bring my Midrand fleet vehicles to Rivonia?

Yes. Installations take place at our Rivonia workshop, at Rivonia Central (Oriental City), opposite NewsCafe Rivonia. You can ask us whether on-site installation is possible for a larger fleet project, but we cannot guarantee it, and we will plan a drop-off schedule with you if vehicles come to us.

Is front-end PPF worth it if I drive the N1 every day?

Frequent highway driving is one of the main reasons people choose front-end PPF, because the bonnet, bumper and mirrors take most stone chips. PPF is designed to absorb these impacts, but results depend on the paintu2019s condition, the coverage chosen and how the film is cared for.

Can you wrap a car that is used for track days at Kyalami?

We can discuss it. Track use adds heat, debris and the risk of contact, which can affect any film. We will look at the vehicle and talk through whether a wrap, PPF or a combination makes sense, and what the limitations are.
