If you live or work in the Johannesburg CBD, Rosebank, Parktown or Houghton, you can book any of our services: full and partial colour change wraps, custom printed wraps, company car and fleet branding, chrome delete, racing stripes and decals, and clear paint protection film. We also handle wrap removal, repairs and rebranding when a vehicle’s graphics need to change.
Car Colour Wraps has one workshop, at Shop L23, Rivonia Central (Oriental City) in Rivonia, Sandton. Listing Johannesburg as an area we serve does not mean we have a branch there: every vehicle is assessed and worked on at the Rivonia workshop, so you bring the vehicle to us and collect it once the job is done.
Vehicle wrapping and branding for Johannesburg
Central Johannesburg mixes older city streets with corporate nodes. Rosebank and Parktown host head offices, agencies and professional firms, and many of their pool cars and executive vehicles are seen in business districts every working day. For those businesses, restrained company car branding, such as a clean logo on the doors and a website on the rear, often suits better than a full advertising wrap.
Driving in and around the CBD means tight parking garages, kerbside loading, taxi ranks and constant stop-start traffic. Door edges, bumpers and mirrors take the knocks, so clear film on the bumper and mirrors, or a partial wrap that can be replaced panel by panel, is a practical choice. Vinyl and paint protection film are different products, though: a colour wrap changes the look, while PPF is a thicker clear film designed to absorb chips and scuffs.
Houghton and Parktown are leafy residential areas with many older, character homes and well-kept prestige and classic vehicles. Owners of these cars often ask about chrome delete or a satin or matte finish that can later be removed. Whether removal is clean depends on the condition of the paint underneath, so we check for resprays and clear-coat wear before recommending a film.
Suburbs and nearby areas
Johannesburg CBD
The CBD is busy with delivery vans, bakkies and service vehicles working between offices, retailers and wholesalers. Branding here needs to be readable in slow traffic and on parked vehicles, so large, simple logos and contact details tend to work better than detailed artwork.
Rosebank
Rosebank is a corporate and retail node around the Gautrain station, Oxford Road and the mall precinct, with many agencies and head offices. Company car branding and tasteful partial wraps are popular choices for businesses that want vehicles to match their brand without looking like a billboard.
Parktown
Parktown sits on the ridge north of the city, with hospitals, office parks and historic homes along Jan Smuts Avenue and Oxford Road. Professionals commuting from here often ask about clear film on the front end and mirrors to deal with daily parking-garage wear.
Houghton
Houghton is a residential suburb either side of the M1, with large properties and many well-kept vehicles. Owners here commonly look at colour changes that can be removed later, and we explain how the paint’s condition affects how cleanly a film comes off.
Getting to our Rivonia workshop
From central Johannesburg the most direct route north is usually the M1 towards Sandton, then Rivonia Road north past Sandton CBD to Rivonia Boulevard. Oxford Road and Jan Smuts Avenue are useful alternatives from Rosebank and Parktown. Travel time depends heavily on traffic, especially at peak hours, so please book a drop-off time and we will have the bay ready.
- From Johannesburg CBD: Take the M1 north towards Sandton, exit at Grayston Drive and head north on Rivonia Road all the way to Rivonia.
- From Rosebank and Parktown: Follow Oxford Road north, which leads into Rivonia Road through Sandton, and continue to Rivonia Boulevard.
- From Houghton: Join the M1 north at the Houghton on-ramps, then use the Grayston Drive exit and Rivonia Road north.
Popular services for Johannesburg customers

Company Car Branding
Rosebank and Parktown offices often want discreet, consistent branding on pool and sales cars that drive into business districts daily.

Bumper Paint Protection Film
Kerbside parking and tight CBD garages put front bumpers at risk of scuffs that clear film is designed to absorb.

Chrome Delete and Trim Wraps
Owners of prestige vehicles in Houghton and Parktown often prefer a darker trim look without permanent changes.

Satin Vehicle Wraps
A satin finish gives a subtle change of colour that suits understated city driving.

Vehicle Logo and Lettering Application
Small CBD businesses can add a logo and contact details to a single vehicle without committing to a full wrap.

Vehicle Wrap Repairs and Panel Replacement
City dents and scrapes often only affect one or two panels, which can be rewrapped instead of redoing the whole vehicle.

Questions from Johannesburg customers
Do you have a workshop in Johannesburg CBD or Rosebank?
No. Our only workshop is in Rivonia, Sandton, at Shop L23, Rivonia Central (Oriental City), opposite NewsCafe Rivonia. All wraps, branding and PPF for Johannesburg customers are fitted there, so you need to bring the vehicle to Rivonia.
Can a Rosebank office brand its pool cars without a full wrap?
Yes. Many offices choose door logos, lettering and a website on the rear window or boot instead of a full wrap. We can lay out the design so every vehicle is branded consistently, and the graphics can be removed or replaced if the brand changes.
My Houghton car is older and has had a respray. Can it still be wrapped?
Often yes, but resprayed paint can bond differently from factory paint and may lift when film is later removed. We inspect the panels first and explain the risks so you can decide whether a wrap, partial wrap or clear film is the better option.
