Multi-location branding is about making every branch, store and vehicle look like the same business. Whether you are opening new sites, rebranding an existing network or simply bringing older locations back in line, the goal is one consistent look wherever customers meet you.
It suits franchise groups, retail chains, service businesses with several branches, and companies whose vehicles and premises should carry exactly the same branding.
About this service
Consistency starts with your brand guidelines. We work from your approved logos, colours, fonts and layouts, and turn them into a signage and vehicle schedule for each location type: what goes on the fascia, the windows, interior walls and each vehicle model. Where guidelines are thin, we document decisions as we go so the same answer is used at every site. We can work with 3M and Avery Dennison vinyl, subject to material availability, and keep the specified film consistent across the rollout.
Each branch is different, so site surveys come before production. Measurements, photos and notes on surfaces, access and landlord or municipal requirements are recorded per site. Rollouts are then scheduled in phases that suit your trading, openings and vehicle availability. Branch installations are carried out at your locations, and installation location and access are arranged per project. Vehicles can be branded at our Rivonia workshop, which has capacity to wrap up to 50 vehicles per week and guarded, covered storage for up to 200 vehicles during a programme.
Colour consistency is a real issue on large rollouts. Printed colours can vary slightly between print runs, materials and lighting conditions, so we control colour settings, keep approved reference samples and check new batches against them. Every site and vehicle is recorded with artwork versions, materials and installation dates, which makes later replacements and additions much easier. When it is time to update vehicles, see fleet rebranding and graphics replacement.

Why choose it
- Customers see the same brand at every branch and on every vehicle
- Fewer one-off decisions, because each location type follows an agreed schedule
- Colour checks reduce visible differences between batches
- Records make damaged graphics and new sites quicker to match
- Phased scheduling keeps branches trading and vehicles working
Things to consider
- Landlord, centre and municipal approvals differ by site and can delay individual locations
- Printed colours can still vary slightly between batches and materials, even with controls
- Older sites may need surface repairs or removal of old signage before new graphics go on
- Remote or widely spread locations add travel and scheduling constraints
- Brand guideline changes during a rollout can mean reworking completed sites
Preparation and installation process
- Guidelines and scope. We review your brand guidelines, list every site and vehicle in scope, and agree the branding standard for each location type.
- Site surveys. Each location is measured and photographed, and access, surfaces and approval requirements are recorded.
- Artwork and schedule. Artwork is prepared per site and vehicle model, approved by you and submitted for landlord or authority approval where needed.
- Rollout planning. Sites and vehicles are grouped into phases, with production and installation dates that fit your trading and openings.
- Production with colour control. Graphics are produced in batches and checked against approved colour references before they leave for site.
- Installation and records. Branches are installed on site and vehicles at our workshop, and each completed site or vehicle is photographed and logged with its artwork version and materials.
- Replacements and additions. Damaged graphics, new branches or new vehicles are matched from the records and reference samples.
What affects the price
- Number of sites and vehicles, and how far apart the sites are
- Amount of signage per location type and the materials specified
- Survey, artwork and approval work required for each site
- Removal of old signage or branding and surface preparation
- Installation conditions, such as after-hours work or access equipment
- Phasing and the number of separate installation visits
Every vehicle is different, so we quote each job individually. Your final quotation depends on the vehicle, the material, how much of the vehicle is covered, any artwork, and the condition of the paint once we have assessed it.
Turnaround
Timing depends on the number and spread of locations, how quickly landlords and authorities approve each site, artwork sign-off, material availability for the specified films, and how many vehicles can be released from service at once. Most rollouts run in phases rather than all at once. Timing is confirmed with the quote once the site list and phasing are agreed.
Care and maintenance
- Share the agreed cleaning advice with each branch manager
- Clean window and wall graphics with mild, non-abrasive products
- Hand wash branded vehicles and keep pressure washers away from edges
- Report damage with a photo and site or vehicle reference so the right file is reprinted
- Review sites periodically so faded or damaged graphics are replaced before they stand out
Frequently asked questions
How do you keep colours the same across all branches?
We work from your brand colours, control print settings, keep approved reference samples and check each batch against them. Slight variation between batches and materials can still occur, so we flag it before installation rather than after.
Can you brand our vehicles and our branches as one project?
Yes. Vehicles and premises can be planned from the same guidelines and artwork, with branch installation on site and vehicles branded at our Rivonia workshop.
What records do you keep?
For each site and vehicle we record the artwork version, materials, installation date and photos. That makes replacements and new additions quicker to match.
Is rollout installation work covered?
Our 5-year workmanship guarantee covers installation workmanship only. It does not cover the film itself, accidental damage, vandalism or normal wear.
We are rebranding. What happens to the old vehicle graphics?
Old graphics are removed before the new branding goes on. Fleet rebranding and graphics replacement explains how removal and re-branding of vehicles is handled.
