Chrome Delete and Trim Wraps
Chrome window surrounds, grille trims and badges covered in black or colour vinyl for a cleaner, darker look.
Chrome delete, contrast roofs and PPF for the Haval Jolion and H6, plus styling for GWM P-Series bakkies.
The Haval Jolion and H6 are popular family SUVs, and their sibling brand GWM sells the P-Series bakkie. Owners of all three often want similar things: less chrome, a two-tone look and protection for new paint.
Car Colour Wraps is an independent workshop in Rivonia, Sandton, and is not affiliated with Haval or GWM. We use 3M and Avery Dennison vinyl films for wraps and trim. Below is what we look at on these vehicles.
Both models carry chrome on the grille, window line and lower bumpers. A chrome delete in gloss or satin black gives a sleeker look and can be reversed later. The Jolion’s large grille and the H6’s detailed front end are assessed individually, because heavily patterned inserts may not wrap neatly. Window surrounds, badges and lower trims are usually straightforward. If you later sell the vehicle or want the chrome back, the film can be removed, and on healthy original trim it usually comes off cleanly. We agree which pieces are included before work starts.
A black roof suits the Jolion’s compact proportions and the H6’s longer, lower roofline. Some owners extend the look with black mirror caps and pillars. If you want more than a two-tone look, a full colour change in satin or matte finishes is possible, subject to material availability. We check panoramic roof edges, roof rails and aerials before planning the cut lines, and we show samples in daylight.
The P-Series double cab is often used as both a family and work vehicle. A black pack on the grille, mirrors, handles and badges is a popular change, and businesses can add logos and lettering to the doors and tailgate. If you fit a canopy, we check its panels and windows before designing graphics, and rear windows only take perforated film where this is legally appropriate. Textured plastic on bumpers and wheel arches doesn’t always hold film well, so these parts are assessed before we include them in a black pack.
Clear paint protection film on the bonnet, bumper and mirrors is designed to absorb stone chips, and it keeps the original colour visible. Fitting it while the paint is new avoids sealing in chips. These vehicles use cameras, radar and parking sensors, which we never cover. Our 5-year workmanship guarantee covers our installation workmanship only, not the lifespan of the film or colour.

A wrapped roof in gloss black, satin or carbon fibre look for a contrast ‘floating roof’ effect without repainting.

Clear PPF on the bumper, bonnet, front wings and mirrors – the areas that face most road debris.

Wraps for SUVs and crossovers, accounting for large panels, tall roofs, roof rails and textured plastic cladding.

Colour change and branding wraps for single and extended cab bakkies, planned around the load bin, canopy and rough use.

Cover every painted exterior panel in a new vinyl colour and finish, with optional door shuts and an honest paint check first.
