Jetour SUVs have quickly become a familiar sight on South African roads, with models such as the Dashing, the X70 Plus and the boxy T2 attracting buyers who want plenty of space and features. Because these vehicles are new to many owners, we often get asked what can be done to personalise them.

Chrome delete on Jetour models

Several Jetour models carry bright or satin chrome on the grille, window surrounds, lower bumpers, side trims and roof rails. Covering these parts in gloss or satin black vinyl gives a darker, more modern look, and the work can be reversed later. Large grilles with detailed patterns need assessment, as some inserts are too intricate to wrap neatly and are better left in their original finish.

Roof and contrast styling

A black or contrast roof is one of the most requested partial wraps on SUVs and suits the Dashing’s sloping, coupe-like profile. On the T2, a darker roof, bonnet graphic or contrast mirror caps can emphasise its rugged styling. We check roof rails, aerials and panoramic roof edges before planning cut lines.

If you prefer a full change, satin greys, earthy tones and matte black can suit a boxy SUV like the T2, subject to material availability. We’ll show you physical samples so you can judge the finish in daylight.

Sensors, cameras and lighting

Like most modern SUVs, Jetour models use parking sensors, multiple cameras for surround views and radar for driver-assistance features, and full-width light strips are common. We don’t cover radar areas, cameras or lights with film, and we trim precisely around sensors so they keep working as intended.

PPF, company vehicles and paperwork

Clear paint protection film on the bonnet, front bumper and mirrors is designed to absorb stone chips, which matters if your T2 spends time on gravel roads. PPF does not change the colour and cannot hide existing damage. Businesses that use Jetour SUVs as company vehicles can add logos and lettering in vinyl, which can be removed later.

If your vehicle is financed, check your agreement before a colour change, and tell your insurer about any wrap. Our 5-year workmanship guarantee covers our installation workmanship only, not the lifespan of the film or colour.
