Can reflective tape be added to our trucks?

Yes. Reflective markings can be added on their own or as part of your branding. Check which conspicuity requirements apply to your vehicle class, and remember that markings must not resemble emergency-vehicle designs.

Isuzu is closely tied to working vehicles in South Africa. D-Max bakkies serve contractors, farms and service companies, the MU-X is a capable family SUV, and N-series trucks carry goods for distributors and delivery businesses. D-Max bakkie branding

D-Max branding usually goes on the doors, tailgate and load bin sides. Single cab, extended cab and double cab versions have different door sizes, so if your fleet is mixed, we design a layout that stays recognisable on each one. For private owners, a black pack on the badges, mirrors and roof is a popular partial wrap.

Work bakkies often have scratches, faded panels or repairs from hard use. These affect how well film bonds and how cleanly it can be removed, so we inspect each vehicle and flag any panels that need attention before branding. If your D-Max fleet is leased, check the return conditions for branded vehicles too.

N-series truck branding

N-series trucks have cab doors and, depending on the body, large box sides or curtains. Box bodies are a strong canvas for printed graphics, while curtains, roller doors and riveted panels need a different approach. We look at your exact body before designing. Truck graphics also need to be readable at a distance and in traffic, so we keep the key message short and place contact details where loading equipment won’t hide them.

Large trucks are wrapped at our Rivonia workshop. Ask us whether on-site installation is possible for your fleet project. For bigger rollouts, we have the capacity to wrap up to 50 vehicles per week and guarded, covered storage for up to 200 vehicles.

Reflective markings

Reflective vinyl lettering and markings make bakkies and trucks easier to see at night. Reflective materials must not imitate emergency-vehicle markings, and some vehicle classes have specific conspicuity requirements, so check what applies to your vehicles. We can combine reflective elements with your normal branding so the design stays consistent.

The MU-X and paint protection

The MU-X suits a contrast roof, chrome delete or a full colour change, subject to material availability. Clear paint protection film on the bonnet, bumper and mirrors is designed to absorb stone chips on gravel roads, and it is a separate product from vinyl. Our 5-year workmanship guarantee covers our installation workmanship, not how long the film or colour lasts.
