Chrome Delete and Trim Wraps
Chrome window surrounds, grille trims and badges covered in black or colour vinyl for a cleaner, darker look.
Wraps, chrome delete, branding and PPF for Kia city cars, family SUVs and the K2700 light truck.
Kia’s line-up runs from the Picanto city car through the Sonet, Seltos and Sportage to the seven-seat Sorento, plus the K2700 light commercial truck. That means we see Kias as first cars, family SUVs and working vehicles, often all in the same week.
Car Colour Wraps is an independent workshop in Rivonia and is not affiliated with Kia. We use 3M and Avery Dennison vinyl films for wraps and graphics. Below is what to think about for your Kia.
The Picanto is small and light, which makes it a practical car for a first full colour change, a two-tone roof or bright accent graphics. The Sonet’s compact SUV shape suits a contrast roof and black mirror caps, and owners often black out badges and trims at the same time.
If the car is financed, check your agreement before a colour change, and tell your insurer about any wrap. A full colour change may also need to be reported to your licensing authority so your registration details stay correct. Smaller changes, such as a roof or mirror caps, don’t change the main colour of the car.
Family SUVs such as the Sportage and Sorento often have chrome or satin trim on the window line, grille and lower bumper. A chrome delete in gloss or satin black gives a darker, more modern look and can be reversed later. Satin and matte full wraps suit the Sportage’s bold styling, subject to material availability. We check panoramic roof edges, roof rails, cameras and radar before planning, and we never cover lights or sensors.
The K2700 is a light truck used for deliveries, building supplies and trade work. Cab doors are the main branding area, and dropside or box bodies can take lettering depending on their surface. Reflective markings can help a work vehicle be seen at night, but they must not imitate emergency-vehicle markings, and you should check which conspicuity requirements apply to your vehicle. Many trade businesses run a mix of K2700 trucks and smaller vehicles, so we design a branding layout that works across the whole range and stays recognisable on every body type.
Fitting clear paint protection film when a Kia is new means the film goes onto paint that hasn’t yet picked up chips. PPF on the bonnet, bumper and mirrors is designed to absorb stone impact and leaves the original colour visible. It is a different product from vinyl. Our 5-year workmanship guarantee covers our installation workmanship, not how long the film or colour lasts.

Cover every painted exterior panel in a new vinyl colour and finish, with optional door shuts and an honest paint check first.

A wrapped roof in gloss black, satin or carbon fibre look for a contrast ‘floating roof’ effect without repainting.

Wraps for SUVs and crossovers, accounting for large panels, tall roofs, roof rails and textured plastic cladding.

Branding for trucks, rigids and trailers, planned around curtain sides, corrugated panels, rivets and conspicuity markings.

Clear PPF on the bumper, bonnet, front wings and mirrors – the areas that face most road debris.
