Full Vehicle Paint Protection Film
Clear urethane film across all painted panels to help reduce stone chips, scuffs and light marks without changing your colour.
Clear PPF, two-tone ideas and careful colour changes for the Bentley Continental GT, Flying Spur and Bentayga.
The Bentley Continental GT, Flying Spur and Bentayga are usually finished in deep, carefully applied paint, and many owners would rather preserve that finish than change it. For Bentley owners in Sandton, clear paint protection film is usually the first conversation, followed by subtle styling such as a two-tone effect or darker trim.
Car Colour Wraps is an independent workshop in Rivonia. We are not affiliated with or approved by Bentley. This page explains how we approach paint protection and wraps on these vehicles.
Paint protection film is a thick, clear urethane designed to absorb stone chips and light scuffs without changing the colour. On a Bentley, front-end coverage takes in the bumper, bonnet, front wings and mirrors, while full-vehicle coverage suits cars in special or hand-matched colours that would be difficult to touch up. Before installation we inspect the paint under good light, because chips, swirl marks or resprayed panels need to be discussed first and film cannot fix damage already present.
Film edges are wrapped or finished carefully around panel gaps and badges, and we plan where any visible edges will fall on large panels such as the Continental GT’s long bonnet.
Many Bentleys have a painted or applied coachline along the shoulder. Clear PPF can sit over a coachline, while a full colour change in vinyl would cover it; a new coachline can then be added in a contrasting vinyl if you want to keep that detail.
The matrix grille, its bright surround, the chrome window line and the winged badge are some of the most recognisable details. A chrome delete in gloss black is possible on window trims and some surrounds for a darker look, but the grille mesh itself is generally left alone, and radar or camera areas are never covered.
Two-tone looks, where the roof or upper body contrasts with the lower body, suit the Flying Spur and Bentayga. Vinyl lets you try this without repainting, using 3M and Avery Dennison films in gloss, satin or metallic finishes, subject to material availability. A satin finish over the full body is another option for owners who want a softer, more modern look while the original paint stays underneath.
Puddle lamps under the mirrors, keyless-entry door handles, parking sensors and cameras are kept clear of film or trimmed precisely, and we check door and sensor operation after installation. Tell your insurer about any wrap or film. For a full colour change, check with your licensing authority whether your registration details need updating, and check any finance agreement. Our 5-year workmanship guarantee covers our installation workmanship and is not a promise about the lifespan of the film.
