Full Vehicle Paint Protection Film
Clear urethane film across all painted panels to help reduce stone chips, scuffs and light marks without changing your colour.
Clear PPF, two-tone and coachline ideas, and careful colour changes for the Rolls-Royce Cullinan, Ghost, Phantom and Spectre.
The Rolls-Royce Cullinan, Ghost, Phantom and electric Spectre are finished in deep, highly polished paint and are often specified in two-tone combinations with a coachline along the shoulder. Most Rolls-Royce owners who visit us want to preserve that finish with clear paint protection film; some want to try a new look without repainting.
Car Colour Wraps is an independent workshop in Rivonia. We are not affiliated with, approved by or connected to Rolls-Royce. Here is how we approach these vehicles.
Rolls-Royce paint is built up in layers and polished to a deep gloss. Clear paint protection film is designed to absorb stone chips and light scuffs while keeping that finish visible. Because the bonnet, wings and doors are large, uninterrupted panels, we plan film placement so edges are wrapped where possible and joins are kept out of obvious sight lines.
Before installation we inspect the paint carefully. Existing marks, swirls or resprayed panels are discussed first, because film cannot fix damage that is already there and may not bond well to compromised paint.
Many cars carry a painted coachline, and two-tone specifications split the body colour along the waist or roof. Clear PPF sits over these details without hiding them. A vinyl colour change, by contrast, covers them, so if you change colour we can add a new coachline or recreate a two-tone split in vinyl, using 3M and Avery Dennison films, subject to material availability.
The Pantheon grille, the Spirit of Ecstasy and the bright surrounds are central to the car’s identity. The Spirit of Ecstasy retracts into the bonnet, and nothing is applied to it or its mechanism. On cars with an illuminated grille, film is kept off the lit area, and cameras and radar are left uncovered.
Rear-hinged coach doors and powered door closing mean door edges need careful film finishing so the doors close smoothly, and the umbrella compartments in the doors are left clear. Parking sensors, cameras and puddle lamps are trimmed around.
Tell your insurer about any film or colour change, and check with your licensing authority about your registration details if you change the colour completely. Our 5-year workmanship guarantee covers our installation workmanship, not the life of the film or colour.
