Office signage is the signage your staff and visitors live with every day once they are past reception. It identifies rooms and departments, helps people find their way between floors, and turns blank walls and glass partitions into part of your corporate identity.
It suits companies moving into new offices, businesses refurbishing a floor, organisations that have rebranded and need the inside of the building to match, and shared or serviced offices that need clear, consistent tenant signage.
About this service
We start with how the office is used. A floor plan and a walk-through show which rooms need names or numbers, where people get lost, which walls are seen most and which glass partitions need privacy or visibility markings. From that we build a signage schedule: door and room signs, floor directories at lifts and stairwells, wall graphics and murals, glass manifestations, and feature walls such as a brand values or mission wall. Using one schedule keeps fonts, sizes and mounting heights consistent across every floor.
Glass manifestations deserve particular attention. Large clear glass doors and partitions can be difficult to see, and building safety requirements may call for visible markings at certain heights. Where that applies, the building owner, your architect or the facilities manager should confirm the required positions, and we produce frosted, etched-look or printed manifestations that meet that brief while carrying your logo or a pattern. Wall graphics and murals are printed or cut from wall-suitable vinyl, using 3M or Avery Dennison films where suitable, subject to material availability. Paint finish matters: fresh, low-quality or textured paint may not hold vinyl well, and vinyl may lift paint when removed.
Office signage is produced and installed on your premises. Location, building access, after-hours or weekend work and any landlord approvals are arranged per project, so work can happen with minimal disruption to staff.

Why choose it
- One consistent identity on every floor, not just at reception
- Visitors and new staff find rooms and departments more easily
- Glass partitions become more visible and can carry branding
- Blank walls become useful space for culture, values or brand messages
- Vinyl graphics can be updated when teams move or the brand changes
Things to consider
- Textured, freshly painted or low-quality painted walls may not hold vinyl reliably, and removal can lift paint
- Manifestation positions should be confirmed by the building owner, architect or facilities manager where building safety requirements apply
- Landlords may restrict fixings, drilling or graphics in common areas
- Room names change as teams move, so frequent changes add reprint costs
- Large murals need walls clear of furniture, cabling and fittings during installation
Preparation and installation process
- Floor plan and walk-through. We review your floor plans and walk the office to list rooms, glass, walls and the routes visitors and staff take.
- Signage schedule. Every sign is listed with its location, content, size and mounting height, so each floor follows the same standard.
- Design and approval. Room signs, directories, murals and manifestations are designed from your brand guidelines and sent to you, and to the landlord where needed, for sign-off.
- Surface check. Walls and glass are checked for paint condition, texture and cleanliness, and any preparation needed is agreed before production.
- Production. Graphics are printed or cut on wall-, glass- or door-suitable film and grouped floor by floor for installation.
- Installation and snag list. We install on site, often after hours, then walk the floors with you to check every item against the schedule.
What affects the price
- Number of floors, rooms and individual signs in the schedule
- Size of murals, feature walls and printed wall graphics
- Glass manifestation and privacy film coverage
- Surface preparation needed on walls or glass
- After-hours or weekend installation and building access requirements
- Design work and the number of revisions to the schedule
Every vehicle is different, so we quote each job individually. Your final quotation depends on the vehicle, the material, how much of the vehicle is covered, any artwork, and the condition of the paint once we have assessed it.
Turnaround
Timing depends on the number of floors and items in the schedule, how quickly content such as room names and department lists is finalised, approval from you and the landlord, how soon newly painted walls are ready for vinyl, and when the building allows installers in. Large offices are often done floor by floor. Timing is confirmed with the quote once the schedule is agreed.
Care and maintenance
- Dust wall graphics with a dry microfibre cloth and wipe with a damp cloth if needed
- Clean glass graphics with a soft cloth and mild, non-ammonia glass cleaner
- Avoid sticking notices, tape or Prestik onto vinyl graphics
- Keep chairs and furniture from rubbing against mural edges
- Ask cleaning staff not to use abrasive pads or scrapers near graphics
Frequently asked questions
Can vinyl go on freshly painted walls?
Paint needs time to cure before vinyl is applied, otherwise the adhesive can fail or bubble. Ask your painter for the curing guidance for the specific paint, and we schedule wall graphics after that.
Are glass manifestations required on our partitions?
Building safety requirements may call for visible markings on certain glazing. The building owner, your architect or facilities manager should confirm what is required and where; we then produce manifestations to that brief.
What happens when a team moves to a different room?
Room signs can be designed so only the name panel or lettering changes. We keep the files, so a replacement matches the rest of the floor.
Can you work around our office hours?
Yes, by arrangement. Installation location, building access and after-hours or weekend work are arranged per project with you and the building management.
