Reception & Boardroom Signage

Reception logo walls, boardroom glass privacy film, branded feature walls and meeting-room naming for client-facing spaces.

Reception and boardroom signage covers the two rooms where clients form an opinion of your business: the reception area where they wait, and the boardroom where decisions are made. Here the signage is about first impressions, privacy and making the space feel unmistakably yours.

It suits companies that host clients, investors or candidates, professional firms with formal reception areas, and businesses whose boardrooms sit behind glass walls that need privacy without losing light.

About this service

The reception logo wall is usually the focal point. It can be produced as cut vinyl lettering applied directly to the wall, a printed graphic panel, or dimensional letters that stand off the wall for depth. Cut and printed vinyl are our core work, using 3M or Avery Dennison film where suitable, subject to material availability. Dimensional or 3D letters involve fabrication, and heavy letters need fixings suited to the wall construction. Illuminated logos, backlit panels and heavy fixtures require other trades, such as a sign fabricator and a registered electrician, and in some cases engineering confirmation of the wall’s load capacity. We plan the artwork and vinyl elements and coordinate with those trades where they are needed.

Boardrooms often have glass walls onto a passage or open-plan area. Privacy film can be applied as a full frosted panel, a band at seated and standing eye level, a gradient that fades from opaque to clear, or a pattern built from your logo. The aim is to stop people outside reading screens and whiteboards or watching the meeting, while keeping natural light. Film is chosen with your glass type in mind, as some laminated, coated or double-glazed units need specific films.

Branded feature walls, such as a printed wall behind the reception desk, a brand story wall in the waiting area or a full boardroom mural, tie the two spaces together. Meeting rooms can be given names or numbers in a consistent style on doors or glass. All work is produced and installed on your premises, with location, access, after-hours work and landlord approvals arranged per project.

Suitable vehicles and common uses

  • Corporate reception areas and visitor lounges
  • Glass-walled boardrooms and executive meeting rooms
  • Professional firms, practices and financial services offices
  • Companies preparing for a new office opening or client event
  • Businesses refreshing reception after a rebrand
  • Meeting-room clusters that need consistent naming

Available options

  • Cut vinyl logo and name lettering applied directly to a wall
  • Printed logo or brand panels for reception walls
  • Dimensional or 3D letters, with illuminated or heavy fixtures handled by other trades
  • Boardroom privacy film as full panels, eye-level bands, gradients or logo patterns
  • Branded feature walls and murals for reception and boardrooms
  • Meeting-room names or numbers on doors and glass
  • Coordinated designs so reception, boardroom and meeting rooms share one style

Options depend on the material available at the time of your project and on your vehicle. We confirm exactly what is possible in your quotation.

Why choose it

  • A clear, confident first impression for every visitor
  • Boardroom privacy without closing off natural light
  • Meeting rooms that are easy to identify and book by name
  • Feature walls that carry your brand story where clients spend time
  • Vinyl elements can be updated without rebuilding the room

Things to consider

  • Illuminated logos and heavy dimensional letters require other trades, and may need confirmation that the wall can carry the load
  • Some glass types, such as certain coated or double-glazed units, need specific films or are not suitable for film
  • Textured or poorly painted walls do not suit direct vinyl application
  • Privacy film reduces visibility both ways, which may affect how open a space feels
  • Changes to the logo after production mean reproducing the affected elements

Preparation and installation process

  1. Space and sightline review. We look at where visitors stand and sit, which walls they face, and from where boardroom glass can be seen, including screen and whiteboard positions.
  2. Concept options. Visuals show logo wall treatments and privacy film options to scale on photos of your space, so you can compare finishes and coverage.
  3. Trade and fixing check. If dimensional, illuminated or heavy elements are chosen, we involve the required fabricator, electrician or engineer before anything is produced.
  4. Approval. You approve the final layout, and we submit it to the landlord where the lease requires it.
  5. Production. Vinyl lettering, printed panels and privacy films are produced, and any fabricated elements are made by the appropriate trade.
  6. Installation. Work is done on site, usually outside business hours, and the room is cleaned and checked with you before it is used.

What affects the price

  • Logo wall method: cut vinyl, printed panel or dimensional letters
  • Size of the logo wall and any feature walls or murals
  • Area of boardroom glass covered and the film type chosen
  • Fabrication, electrical or engineering input for illuminated or heavy elements
  • Number of meeting rooms to be named
  • After-hours installation and building access conditions

Every vehicle is different, so we quote each job individually. Your final quotation depends on the vehicle, the material, how much of the vehicle is covered, any artwork, and the condition of the paint once we have assessed it.

Turnaround

Timing depends on design approval, whether fabricated or illuminated elements are involved and how quickly those trades can be scheduled, availability of the chosen privacy film, wall preparation such as painting and curing, and when the rooms can be closed for installation. Vinyl-only projects are usually simpler to schedule. Timing is confirmed with the quote once the scope is agreed.

Care and maintenance

  • Clean privacy film with a soft cloth and mild, non-ammonia glass cleaner
  • Do not use whiteboard markers, tape or adhesive notes on film
  • Dust dimensional letters gently and avoid leaning items against them
  • Wipe printed feature walls with a damp cloth, never an abrasive pad
  • Report lifting film corners on boardroom glass before they collect dirt

Frequently asked questions

Can you make a backlit logo for our reception?

We produce the vinyl and graphic elements. A backlit or illuminated logo needs a sign fabricator and a registered electrician, and sometimes confirmation of the wallu2019s load capacity, so we coordinate with those trades as part of the project.

Will privacy film make our boardroom dark?

Frosted and patterned films let light through while blocking clear views. Bands and gradients keep more of the glass clear, so you can balance privacy and light.

Can people outside still see our screens?

That depends on the film coverage and where the screens sit. We check screen and whiteboard positions during the review so the film covers the sightlines that matter.

Is cut vinyl lettering a good option for a logo wall?

For many logos, yes. It gives crisp edges and solid colour on a smooth, sound wall. Very fine detail, gradients or photographic elements usually suit a printed panel better.
