Shuttle Branding

Consistent, legible branding for airport, hotel, lodge, corporate and tour shuttles, scheduled around your operating hours.

A shuttle is often the first part of your service a guest sees: waiting at the airport arrivals kerb, outside a hotel lobby or at a lodge gate. Clear branding helps passengers find the right vehicle quickly and makes every trip a reminder of your business.

This page is for airport transfer operators, hotels, lodges, corporate campuses and tour companies running minibuses and people carriers such as the Toyota Quantum and Hiace, Mercedes-Benz V-Class and Vito, and Hyundai Staria. Work is carried out at our workshop in Rivonia, Sandton.

About this service

Shuttle branding uses printed vinyl graphics, cut lettering or full and partial wraps to apply your name, logo and contact details to passenger vehicles. The goal is a consistent fleet look: the same colours, logo size and positions on every vehicle, even when your fleet mixes models. Because a Quantum, a V-Class and a Staria all have different window lines, sliding door shapes and panel breaks, we adapt one master layout to each model so the fleet still reads as one brand.

Legibility matters more on shuttles than on most vehicles. Passengers need to read your name from across a pick-up zone, and potential customers need to read a phone number or website on the road. We advise on letter height, contrast and placement, and keep important details away from sliding door tracks, fuel flaps and handles where they would be broken up or worn.

Perforated window graphics can carry your branding across rear windows while still allowing vision out from inside, where legally appropriate; front windscreens and front side windows are not covered. Removable promotional panels let hotels and tour operators change a seasonal offer or event message without redoing the base branding. The vehicles keep their original paint underneath, and how cleanly graphics later remove depends on paint condition and how long they have been on.

Suitable vehicles and common uses

  • Airport transfer and shuttle operators
  • Hotel and guesthouse guest shuttles
  • Game lodge and wedding venue transfer vehicles
  • Corporate campus and staff transport shuttles
  • Tour and day-trip operators
  • Mixed fleets of Quantums, Hiaces, V-Class, Vito and Staria vehicles
  • Operators rebranding after a name change or new livery

Available options

  • Full printed wraps for maximum visibility
  • Partial wraps or side graphics over the existing body colour
  • Cut vinyl lettering for names, phone numbers and websites
  • Perforated rear-window graphics, where legally appropriate
  • Removable promotional panels for seasonal or event messages
  • Printed and cut vinyl from 3M and Avery Dennison ranges, subject to material availability
  • Fleet numbers and small passenger-facing information decals

Options depend on the material available at the time of your project and on your vehicle. We confirm exactly what is possible in your quotation.

Why choose it

  • Guests and passengers can identify your vehicle quickly at busy pick-up points
  • A consistent look across different shuttle models
  • Contact details on the road for passers-by and future passengers
  • Promotional messages can be changed without rebranding the whole vehicle
  • Damaged sections can usually be reprinted and replaced individually

Things to consider

  • Different shuttle models need separate layouts, which adds design time to mixed fleets
  • Perforated film reduces rear visibility somewhat, especially at night or in rain
  • Sliding door tracks and deep body recesses limit where text can sit
  • Dents, rust or respray work under the graphics will show through and affect adhesion
  • On-site installation is not confirmed; ask us whether it is possible for your fleet project

Preparation and installation process

  1. Fleet brief. We list your vehicle models, quantities, operating hours and what information must appear on each vehicle.
  2. Master layout and model variations. One master design is created, then adjusted for each model’s windows, doors and panel lines, with proofs for you to approve.
  3. Vehicle inspection. Each vehicle is checked for dents, rust, respray work and existing graphics that may need removal.
  4. Scheduled installation. Vehicles are booked in batches around your operating hours so enough shuttles stay on the road.
  5. Application and quality check. Graphics are applied, edges sealed and every vehicle checked against the approved layout for consistent placement.
  6. Ongoing updates. Promotional panels, fleet numbers and damaged sections can be replaced later as your needs change.

What affects the price

  • Number of vehicles and how many different models are in the fleet
  • Full wrap, partial wrap or lettering only
  • Print coverage and whether perforated window graphics are included
  • Design and layout work for each model
  • Removal of old branding before new graphics go on
  • Body condition of each vehicle

Every vehicle is different, so we quote each job individually. Your final quotation depends on the vehicle, the material, how much of the vehicle is covered, any artwork, and the condition of the paint once we have assessed it.

Turnaround

Timing depends on fleet size, the mix of models, design approval, whether old branding needs to be removed and how many vehicles you can release at once. We schedule batches around your operating hours and peak periods so your service keeps running. For larger fleets we have capacity to wrap up to 50 vehicles per week and guarded, covered storage for up to 200 vehicles while work is under way. Timing is confirmed with your quote once the vehicles have been assessed. Installation workmanship is covered by our 5-year workmanship guarantee.

Care and maintenance

  • Hand wash or use touchless washes rather than brush washes
  • Keep pressure washer nozzles away from graphic edges and the edges of perforated film
  • Clean perforated window graphics gently so the holes do not fill with dirt
  • Report lifted edges or damaged lettering early so they can be repaired
  • Avoid harsh solvents or degreasers on printed areas
  • Park under cover between shifts where possible to reduce sun exposure

Frequently asked questions

Can you make a mixed fleet of Quantums and V-Class vehicles look the same?

Yes. We create one master design and adapt it for each model, keeping the logo, colours and contact details in consistent positions so the fleet reads as one brand.

Can we brand the rear windows?

Perforated window graphics can be used on rear windows where legally appropriate, allowing vision out from inside. We do not cover the front windscreen or front side windows.

How do you keep our shuttles on the road during branding?

We book vehicles in batches around your operating hours and busy periods, so only part of the fleet is off the road at a time.

Can we change a promotion without rebranding the vehicle?

Yes. Removable promotional panels can be designed into the layout so a seasonal offer or event message can be swapped while the base branding stays in place.

Can you install at our premises?

Installations take place at our Rivonia workshop. Ask us whether on-site installation is possible for your fleet project.
