Full Vehicle Paint Protection Film
Clear urethane film across all painted panels to help reduce stone chips, scuffs and light marks without changing your colour.
Clear PPF, satin colour changes and trim work for the Maserati Ghibli, Levante, Grecale and MC20.
Maserati combines Italian design with grand touring comfort, and the Ghibli, Levante, Grecale and MC20 all appear on Sandton roads. Owners typically want to protect the paint, try a satin finish or darken bright details while keeping the car’s elegant character.
Car Colour Wraps is an independent workshop in Rivonia and has no affiliation with Maserati. We use 3M and Avery Dennison vinyl films for wraps, and clear paint protection film for impact-prone areas.
The large grille with its Trident badge, the side vents on the front wings and the badging on the rear pillar are Maserati signatures. Grille inserts are usually left in their original finish, while vent surrounds and some bright trim can be darkened in gloss or satin black. On many models radar and cameras sit in the grille and bumper area, and we leave these uncovered.
Clear paint protection film is a thick urethane film designed to absorb stone chips and light scuffs without changing the colour. The front bumper, bonnet, wings and mirrors are the most exposed areas, and full-vehicle PPF suits owners who want wider coverage. Film cannot repair existing chips or failing clear coat, so we inspect the paint and discuss any resprayed panels before installation.
Satin finishes suit Maserati’s flowing shapes because they show off curves without strong reflections. Satin greys, deep blues and dark reds are popular, subject to material availability. The Ghibli and Levante have long, smooth panels that wrap neatly, while the Grecale’s sensors and lighting need careful planning, and the electric Grecale Folgore has no engine heat to consider at the front. The MC20 has carbon fibre elements, butterfly doors and engine heat at the rear, so film is kept away from hot areas and the doors are trimmed to open freely.
If your Maserati is financed or leased, check your agreement before a colour change, and tell your insurer about any wrap. For a full colour change, check with your licensing authority whether your registration details need updating. If your car is new, PPF is easiest to apply before chips build up; existing chips are discussed first, because film cannot hide them.
Our 5-year workmanship guarantee covers our installation workmanship, not how long the film or colour lasts, which depends on the material, exposure and care.
